With superior elongation properties of 1300%, our membrane stretches and adapts to these movements without compromising its integrity — it can stretch up to 13 times its original size! This flexibility ensures it maintains a seamless, crack-resistant barrier even under challenging conditions such as settlement or extreme heat/cold.

Bridging

Our crack reduction membrane won’t just prevent future damage; it can also effectively bridge and seal any existing fractures. The membrane’s advanced flexibility allows it to span cracks up to 6mm wide without breaking — not only providing a smooth foundation for tiling or other finishes, but also preventing water and debris from entering and exacerbating the problem. If you have any cracks wider than 6mm, just use Fabric Reinforcement to bridge the crack before applying the membrane over it.

How to Apply

For the best performance, ensure the substrate is clean, dry, and free of debris. Apply the membrane evenly, ensuring complete coverage of the surface, using either a:

• Spray Gun: Ideal for large areas, offering quick and even coverage. Use a spray gun designed for viscous materials.
• Roller: Perfect for medium-sized areas, providing a consistent layer. Use a medium-nap roller for best results.
• Brush: Suitable for smaller or intricate areas where precision is key, such as corners and edges.

Allow the first coat of Liquid Membrane™ to dry fully (about 45 minutes to 1 hour) before proceeding with a second and final coat. By following these steps, you can achieve a smooth, effective application every time.

Did you know Liquid Membrane™ comes in multiple colours? You can also use semi-clear if you love the natural appearance of your substrate but just need a little refresh. Old wood, concrete, and bricks will look totally rejuvenated, while being stabilised at the same time.
